May 4 & 5: Maryland Sheep & Wool Festival

May 18:  Meeting at the Library Annex - 10:00 AM 
Join other Guild members for our regular monthly meeting.
Bring your wheel, knitting, crocheting or other fiber-
related project and spend time with your guild friends.
June 8: Annual Spinning Seminar at The Mannings. 
Bring your wheel and chair and spin with other spinners.
Also featured will be flax preparation & spinning, dyeing,
spinning cotton, and  much more.  For more info, check

June 15:  Spinning at the Library Annex - 10:00 AM
If the weather is good, we'll spin outdoors.
July 13:  Newburg Rural Life Festival - 10 AM-4 PM
(Set up between 9:00 and 9:30 am.)
Guild members will do a Fleece to Shawl demonstration.
Details to follow.  Festival will provide Guild members with
meal tickets. Remember to bring your own chair. 
Aug. 3:  Annual "Knit-In" at The Mannings

Aug. 17:  Annual Guild Picnic & Swap: The picnic will
start at 10:00 AM at the home of Vickie Negley.  Please
bring food to share.
Sept. 6 & 7: Knitters' Day Out

Dottie will teach the basics of crochet, i.e. chain stitch,

Dec. 14: Annual Christmas Luncheon & Challenge Reveal
Annual membership dues of $12 will be collected.

Dottie will demonstrate Knooking.  Knooking is knitting
